Occupation: Novelist.

Status: In relationship with a very sweet canine-ish guy who sometimes get wigged out by my feline-ish tendencies to wander off and sit staring out the window for long periods.

Colors: Orange. But I wear blues and reds because orange makes me look diseased.

Books: Count of Monte Cristo, The Alchemist, Odd Thomas, Good Omens, Lamb, the Fifth Elephant, anything from any genre that's written to engage. Or is informational. Or is left on a table in a waiting room.

TV/Movies: Scrubs, Big Bang Theory, Shrek 2, Kung-Fu Panda, Sweeney Todd

Food: Fully omnivorous, no clear preference.

Drinks: Anything but beer. Will swill the fizzy moose urine that is beer if etiquette requires.

Pets: Birds. 2 very gaudy Gouldian finches, 2 stately gray button quail.

Hobbies: Everything from sewing to gold panning to cheese making to diesel engine repair. I like anything I don't know.

Weird moments: When I look at huge trees and realize again that they're ALIVE.

Places: Libraries, classrooms, bed, sometimes the floor. Parks are nice too.

Time of Day: Late night to early morning.

Ambition: To live and write in different countries and send manuscripts back to the USA for publication

Oddest Desires:
~To travel across the United States in one of the motorhome caravans by renting a couch in one during the day, then pitching a tent at night.
~To one day accumulate enough wealth to actually create a real treasure hunt for some kids. Map, creepy house, clues, chest full of gems, the whole bit. It'll give me an excuse to try to buy pearls in any case ;D
